Cal State Fullerton's Writing Center stands firm in one belief: writers are made, not born. At the Writing Center, we promote a nurturing environment that cultivates the growth and creativity of all students, providing them with a place in which they can develop their skills as better writers and critical thinkers. We recognize that each student is an individual, so we tailor our strategies to respond to his or her specific needs. Our methods emphasize collaboration as a means of enhancing each student's unique voice. We also believe in the value of writers helping writers. In fact, the Writing Center staff consists of graduate and undergraduate students thoroughly trained in writing and collaborative tutoring. Finally, we strive to empower students from all academic levels and disciplines, and we are committed to facilitating students' development as successful writers throughout their university experience.
